The journey began around the family dinner table, where discussions frequently centered on design, development, and the intricacies of "the business." With a father who is a general contractor and a brother who is an architect, Carla found herself immersed in this world from an early age. After establishing herself in sales and marketing, she decided to redirect her career path and pursue a degree in Interior Design, following several successful years in client services and advertising sales.

 

For over a decade, Carla has specialized in designing residential and small commercial spaces, with a focus on the luxury residential market in Chicago and consulting in Denver. C Space Interiors, her company, offers comprehensive project support, including coordination with architects and general contractors when necessary. For clients seeking interior decorating services, C Space Interiors provides a range of unique, sophisticated, and enjoyable wholesale alternatives to conventional retail options.

 

Carla earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing of Textiles from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and holds an Associate's Degree in Interior Design from the College of DuPage. She operates her Illinois-licensed company under the name C Space Interiors LLC. In 2022, Carla relocated to the Fort Collins, CO area due to her husband's career but looks forward to continuing her work in the dynamic Front Range while also prioritizing key accounts and select clients in Illinois.

Committed to lifelong learning and sustainable material sourcing, Carla is a WELL Accredited Professional (AP) and a LEED Green Associate. She recently completed her master's degree in design and merchandising with a focus on sustainability.
