The journey began around the family dinner table. With a father who is a General Contractor and a brother who is an Architect, discussions frequently centered on design, development, and the intricacies of "the business." After establishing herself in sales and marketing, Carla redirected her career path to pursue a degree in Interior Design, following several successful years in client service and advertising sales. For over a decade, Carla has specialized in designing residential and small commercial spaces, focusing on the luxury residential market within the Chicago market and consulting in Denver.

Carla earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing of Textiles from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and holds an Associate's Degree in Interior Design from the College of DuPage. She operates an Illinois-licensed company under the name C Space Interiors LLC. In 2022, Carla relocated to the Fort Collins, CO, area due to her husband's career and looks forward to continuing her work in the dynamic front range while also prioritizing key accounts and select clients in Illinois.

 

Committed to lifelong learning and sustainable material sourcing, Carla is a WELL AP and LEED Green Associate certified professional and recently finished her master's degree in design and merchandising with a focus on sustainability.
